Hi. I'm Janet. I was born on February 17 (Aquarius) in the year that falls between 1983 and 1985; and I've been into fanlistings since 2003. My first was for Bitch: In Praise of Difficult Women by Elizabeth Wurtzel. I got into fanlistings after visiting Shannon's blog and reading about her love for them.

I haven't owned fanlistings the whole time. I had two bouts where I dropped out of the TFL "scene", but eventually I've come back.

I'm really into vampires. I have been since Buffy the Vampire Slayer came out. I love BtVS, Angel, True Blood/Southern Vampire Mysteries, The Vampire Diaries, and Twilight. I know each is different, and some devout vampire fans would make some snarky comments about my Twi-hardness. That's their problem, not mine.

I'm also into things that have witches, psychics, and crazy people. Usually my favorite episodes of shows take place in psychiatric hospitals. I always think it's interesting how Hollywood portrays those places. (Not very accurate, but interesting.)

I've been doing websites since 1998. I started on AOL's members pages. I then went to the now-defunct Xoom. After Xoom, I got a domain (in February 2001). I was one of those people who had no earthly clue what she was getting into, so I paid through the nose. When I realized what I had done (and waited until my contract was up), I changed hosts and registrars. I went to INIhosting, which left me high and dry two months later. Then there was the previous host to this one, who cut my service because of a bad script. Now I'm hosted by Dreamhost.

I used to own The Taboolistings. I started it a few years ago as 6 different networks and decided that was too much work (I'm a bit lazy), so I merged them into one. Wendy now owns the network, and I'm sure she'll do an awesome job with it.
